26 horses seized by Guardia Civil – now with Scooby

Things to sell in the Scooby shop?

Horses are my other life-long passion, I still have my last two old boys, wandering our meadows contentedly. A different life from the 26 horses just arrived at Scooby. Raquel Lopez is the lawyer who also acts on ACTIN cases. These equines are on top of the several pregnant mares rescued last month! I’ve offered for some of the foals to come to me – grazing in my beautiful meadows is just what they need – but the animals have to stay with Scooby until judgement is passed against their owner.

Unfortunately the foals can’t come to me until the judge decides, which could take up to 2 years. Which is very sad, as these young equines – having had such a poor start in life – need the lifestyle we can offer here, meadows full of grass and plenty of room to exercise their limbs and muscles as they grown. Let’s hope the judge decides soon. Scooby needs all the help it can get to help these equines. I would add that one or two in the photos are in reasonable condition with trimmed tails and these are probably ones which the owner hired out for hunting with galgos.
