Make a coat for a galgo

Winter is coming and the galgos in shelters waiting to be adopted need coats to keep warm and dry. Here are two patterns, one knitted. The waterproof coats are best as the dogs are kept in kennels and compounds and need to be dry. A friend of mine uses old nylon tents, old blankets, men’s ties for fastening. So it doesn’t need to cost a lot to make a coat – doesn’t matter what it looks like – the dogs will be glad of protection from the weather. There’s a list of associations here, if you want to make and send some coats.
