Galgo Julio – survives being thrown from a window

EDL Julio 400 3 2018
A story of yet another sickening act of cruelty by a sub-human species in Spain…sad that so many of them get Spain a bad name…when there are so many wonderful Spanish people trying to stop the cruelty!

From L’Europe des Levriers.

‘There is in Spain, the worst and the best of human nature! A galgo was thrown out of the window of a building by gypsies and left for dead. The galgo does not move on the asphalt anymore. A girl picks it up and brings it to the vet. The galgo has multiple injuries but especially a triple fracture of the front leg. The operation will be expensive. Natalia does not have money. She can not pay. The veterinarian refuses to operate.

A call is launched on facebook … without success. It is necessary to operate the galgo which suffers atrociously. Quick, time is running out. Cristina, our vice president in Madrid receives the call. EDL sends the money in stride. The galgo is operated. He is saved!

According to the veterinarian, a convalescence of three months will be necessary before this galgo can walk normally. He put a pin on him that may have to be removed. This convalescence will be with Natalia in Andalusia. After, everything will depend on you! Natalia gave him a name: JULIO.’
