Update on Julio.
‘Julio is fine, even if the beginning of convalescence is laborious. He cannot walk for now. Just to go to bed, that’s all. He must stay in bed.
The rare moments when he does not sleep, he is very gentle and affectionate. This is what makes this cause particularly moving. These galgos are unable to defend themselves against their torturers and even when abused so violently, they remain affectionate with men.
Julio is at Natalia’s in Andalusia. Convalescence will take at least three months. What will happen next to him? He is in a corner of Andalusia where the abuse of galgos is a tradition. Julio is still in danger.’

Poor Julio. What kind of person could do this to an innocent? They are evil monsters. Is there any news that a rescue might take him or better still, if someone wants to adopt him?
