Have you thought about it, meditated, balance the pros and cons… but you don’t want a dog that’s too “active”.. Have you thought about a grandpa or grandma?
And why not?….. Growing up doesn’t mean they have nothing left to give..
They are caring, calm, understand perfectly the basic rules, they do not need so much activity as a younger one, they have not lost curiosity to know new places and things
Being older doesn’t mean being finished, we know that by a general rule, younger dogs or puppies are preferred but I assure you that putting a grandparent in your life is so satisfying that you won’t regret it.
They are the great forgotten in protectors and associations, the so-called “invisible”… they deserve to know what the warmth of a home is, some caresses, a hug and have a dignified ending having felt like part of a family.
We want to advocate for them… when adopting, please keep them in mind..
