Letter-writing campaign – join in – Spanish government, embassies….
Please copy and send this letter to the Spanish government, provincial governments and Spanish embassies around the world. You will find the addresses in the links at the end of the letter. I realise you are all busy people, but it is important that we keep up the pressure on Spain to do something about the mass abandonment of hunting dogs every year.
I realise also that postage is expensive if you are sending a dozen letters but, again, it’s not a lot of money if we can help make a difference, and help the noble volunteers in Spain and the Spanish islands every year all year with the mass abandonment of dogs.
Would associations also please link in and ask their members and supporters to join in. We need letters to go out in their hundreds – thousands would be even better!

Galgo puppies murdered in Toledo – write to the Mayor of Santa Olalla!
Hundreds of you have been sickened and horrified at the story of the two galgo puppies murdered and left by rubbish bins in Santa Olalla. In the message I received, it said Santa Olalla was in Murcia, but Galgo passionata Carla Johnson has discovered it is actually in Toledo. Now, that is where the galguero hung his 3 galgos in February this year, he whom Sandra Baas has taken to court.
Thank you to Carla for composing this letter to the Mayor of Santa Olalla. His name is Snr Jose Maria Vallejo Herrera. Please join in and send a copy of this letter to him. His email address is alcalde@santaolalla.es – or this one – and the postal address is Snr Jose Maria Vallejo Herrera,Ayuntamiento de Santa Olalla, Plaza Reyes de España, 1. 45530 Toledo, Espagne.

Save the greyhounds from China – Irish and Australian
This is an extension of the campaign to stop Irish greyhounds being sent to China. I have no doubt that readers in Oz will have some comments.
Urgent- please write to the Australian Prime Minster the Hon Julia Gillard MP to stop greyhounds being exported to the Macau track where they live in appalling conditions most of which are killed at the end of their racing days! Worldwide letters needed now please to help these poor greyhounds who suffer and die, all for the price of a bet.
This is a quote from the recent Irish Daily mail investigation- -
Greyhounds to China – more letters of protest needed – please join the campaign
Please would all our national and international supporters now contact the ‘ISPCA’ (the Irish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) and ask them to mobilise all their supporters to join this vital campaign to protect our greyhounds. Other leading animal welfare organisations are also backing the worldwide campaign to stop Irish Greyhounds being exported to China. We need every voice!
