Save the Galgo – Stop the suffering

Injured Galgo in Cadiz, can an association take him and heal him?

Galgo eye 1 250 1 2 2012This poor soul is in Barbate, Cadiz. He is very thin and, as you can see, has an eye out. Surprisingly he is willing to get n a car, he is not too afraid, wags his tail a bit. The problem is that the volunteer has not the funds to pay for the operation needed on the eye. She desperately needs a foster home for him, and an association to take care of the eye operation with their vet. Please, is there an association anywhere who will take this poor boy in and save what is left of his eye. Goodness knows what caused this damage.

If you can take him, please contact Helena 657133551 helenamalia89@gmail.com

Helena writes. ‘I have found a foster family that will look after Otto until he can have a surgery. He will lose his eye, but at least we hope he won’t suffer any more and he has the other one, thanks god. The foster family works with an animal protection association in the north, Galgos112, they manage lots of serious cases, so all donations will be absolutely welcome. They helped a female greyhound two weeks ago, so I can’t leave them alone with vet bills.

After that, we’ll look for a family for him, the best family we can find. He deserves it, he’s a peaceful creature, very loving and calm.
