Please can anyone squeeze in these two temporarily, the galguero is going to get rid of them….he doesn’t say how. Puri says ‘I have no room, he is giving me until Monday to do something. I have offered a refuge that can take care of them in terms of veterinary and other expenses but do not have room, so I need shelter for two.’

Valiente was delivered to the Albacete perrera by his galguero. Born in June 2008. He’s great, loving, quiet, a real sun dog but already has an injured tail and is starting with ulcers in the chest and back; he’s also allergic to the cement in the kennel.

It is absolutely WRONG that these hunters can just get rid of their dogs, they play on the emotions of the volunteers, ‘take the dogs or I’ll kill them’. Sick cruel bastards.. And what is even worse is that those galgueros who do genuinely care for their hunting dogs do absolutely NOTHING to stop all this! They are as guilty as the bastards who inflict cruelty.
