This galgo, called Mory,is one year old and was stolen on 18th February in Almendralejo, Badajoz. Its owners are still desperately trying to find it. This is the only photo we have, but as identification, there is a scar as small as a grain of rice hetween its eyes. The owners are heartbroken. Please, if anyone is going into the Olivenza Perrera, have a look at the galgos.

Just a question – why the hell wasn’t the dog microchipped, if the owner cared so much about it! Finding a black galgo in Spain?!!

And why don´t the caring owners go and look for the galgo themselves in the Olivenza perrera????

Quite! I assumed it is because, according to
the information I received when researching my book, that the Olivenza perrera
is privately run and they dont allow people in? As far as I am concerned,
caring owners microchip their dog for starters! Although, as we know, the
chip could already have been cut out……
