Looking at all these beautiful sight hounds. One more deserving than the other and only being abel to spread the word about their plight and praying for all of them to be safe is very hard knowing we can´t save them eventhough that is what we would all like to do.Since I formed my own small organisation back in 2006 because no one was helping the racing greyhounds here in Denmark. I was on the board with Galgo sos. However none of them were prepared to help as much as a shadow of a greyhound which I found odd since I got my Greyhound through them. However a lot has happend since that time they rescue galgoes from Spain and find loving homes for them I alert others about their plight as well as that of racing greyhounds as we all know they deserve a second chance too. I sadly lost my adopted Greyhound Connor this summer he died from a blood clot in his cerebellum. He was asleep and never woke up it was unexpected and very hard to loose him as he was the reason I started this in the first place.Connor can´t be replaced but a new young greyhound needed a home so I have given him that. He is such a breath of fresh air and traumatised too. He has slipped into the pack as if he has always been here. I feel that Connor must have sent him my way. As it turns out he is a close relation to Connor and has some of the same behavior patterns as Connor did. He is bright and he smiles and greets me with a huge grin when I come home just as Connor used to do. I miss my Connor but am greatful for having had him in my life and believe he is still here once in a while looking in on all of us. I do hope these three are rescued I will pray for them. With all my love and warmth. Lisbeth Mønsted Larsen Greyhound Action Denmark.

Dear Lisbeth
So sorry to hear you lost Connor, it is never easy
to lose our animal friends, but at least you know he had a good life with you
and you have your precious memories. And his passing has made way for you
to save another deserving soul. Thank you for all you do for the
greyhounds galgos.
