I make no apologies for posting this photo. On 15th November 2011, this galgo was found hanged by schoolchildren who went hiking in the SIERRA DE TENTUDIA, Badajoz, Extremadura.
The hunters still claim they do not hang dogs, that all reports are exaggerated. The truth is out there on the Internet for the world to see – THEY LIE
Pray for the soul of this poor galgo, that its suffering is at an end. Curse the bastard who did this and brings shame on a country where so many brave people work to stop the cruelty, and whose lives are threatened if they expose the truth.

What so very cruel.The Galgo has never deserve this.This must they do with the people who did this crime.Poor animal.I pray for his soul.I have shared this,because everybodu must know this
just when you think there is no more hanging even though its bad enough them being dumped at kill station or left to fend for them self or other horrid things happen to them the government need to sort this once and for all all them in the kill stations aswell im both disgusted and heart broken for these poor galgos
It’s a crime. I hope the person who did this cruelty will meet the justice, either secular or God’s.
The Spanish Government appears uninterested in the massive cruelty done in its country. My grandfather was Spanish and I was taken to bullfights as a child. Why can they not stop these hunters, come down on them and make this a prisonable offence.
I’ll never go there again until they change their attitude towards, all the animals that suffer in Spain. Don’t understand what the problem is with cruelty and some Spaniards that is allowed to go un punished. Absolutely shocking.Now children have seen the reality of their country and I hope that they and their parents really write to their government and do all they can to spread the word and get action from their government.
anger and tears are strange bedfellows. the man who did this is no man at all. my brother in the EU? no way. he deserves the rope…and i bet this isn’t the first one he killed.
No, it wont be the first. But we need someone in the area who will enter a denuncia so that the hanging is record. You dont need the name of the owner, just the fact that the dog was was hung. More people need to submit a denuncia. Thanks for caring and commenting.
