Zaragoza perrera, young dogs on death row, puppies, sick dogs, pedigree dogs, young dogs…..they are available for rescue, adoption etc. The young pointer with the tumour is very depressed; the Sharpei is only 3 years old; the puppy with an injured eye which requires treatment; young Breton spaniel, Sabu the old podenca, 12 yrs old, served her purpose as a breeding machine and now dumped.

UPDATE 8/12 – I’ve been in contact with Sharpei Rescue UK and they will take the Sharpei if we can get it passported and transported there, and it’s not too expensive. My friend in Barcelona has been in touch with the Vet at Zaragoza and he has marked the dog not to be euthanaised. So keep fingers crossed that we can save at least one of these deserving souls. UPDATE 2 – le Bulletin des Levriers tell me that Evolucion are taking the galga. Great. But what about the puppies etc…..I’m still praying for them all

what in god’s name is wrong with the spanish? it’s hard to look into the sad eyes of these dogs without feeling shame that i am myself one of the species that treats the innocent so cruelly. bless all those who work so selflessly to put right these terrible wrongs.
Bon Soir I am hoping we can get the Sharpei out, the galga is saved, but what about the rest, the puppu with a bad eye, the pointer with a huge tumour, the old podenca who should have been put down at home…..indescribable. Thanks for caring and commenting
i am pleased the galgo has been saved and ye its a real shame about the other dogs they all deserve a chance poor souls fingers crossed they make it
