Here’s the original story about the 120 dogs in a compound in Bullas, Murcia. Seprona have denounced and all the dogs will be put to sleep if they aren’t rescued. Pro-Setter Spain is co-ordinating the rescue with other associations.
I’ve just received news that there are 50 podencos which need saving – podencos are fabulous companion pets, especially for active people who like jogging, long walks, dog agility work. just wrote a mail to GdS to reconfirm the new bank account for IBAN and BIC for money transfer from Germany to their bank in Spain. As soon I receive this, I shall transfer it. Hope these poor dogs will have a chance to be saved. This Year seems to be espec. hard to cope with and the numerous animals seeking a safe shelter or home.

agrees this is the worst year ever for the galgos and podencos.And
rehomings get harder too, as so many dogs are getting dumped and needing new
homes, everywhere.
