This pretty little pup is Eros, in the care of Levriers du Sud. Only 5 months old, he was found by a volunteer who was walking her dogs. She saw this little galgo on a tree branch. She went over and realized that he had been hung to the tree but was able to climb on a branch saving his own life! Resourceful little guy!
It’s hard to believe that anyone would hang a young puppy… They can’t tell me that it’s because he was no good for hunting… he’s so young, he’s probably never hunted. It’s insane!

Well done Eros! He may not have had a good start in life, but things will be so much better for him from now on. I agree, Jen, so sad for all the others not so lucky or resourceful as this little chap.
