More on Mairena – the horror revealed

No words…

Mairena Injection needles 250 1 2014The injection needles with which the dogs were euthanaised in Mairena, still there as silent witnesses of the horror that happened there.

From Cobie at Scooby Valladolid.

Let´s go for it now and let´s close all bad killing stations in Spain! Together we can!! Here below there are two links to petitions for closing the perrera-matadero (which means slaughterhouse) from Olivenza (Badajoz) and one link to close the hell station Gesser from Jerez (Cadiz), both privately owned. Sign and share please and speak for the voiceless!’

Cobie believes perreras should be run by Protectoras (associations)

It is a horror, this is hell on earth. This is how the big white dog met his end, he had a horrible life and a horrible painful death, along with the thousands of other innocent victims. This is so, so upsetting. All that pain and suffering, it has to stop. I will be signing and sharing.

Jenny, they wouldn’t have been able to do that, as it would have made things worse for the rescues and campaigners and generated bad publicity for them. Imagine them letting hundreds of sick dogs out on the street, some that were clearly unable to even walk, with nowhere for the dogs to go. Plus it would have been illegal and probably then the rescues would have been hit with law suits and labelled irresponsible. On the ACTIN website they go into detail about all the legal work they have to do, Denuncias etc before claiming the dogs. I am sure that they feel like just running in and getting them but they can’t and they also need to secure safe places for the dogs to go. Same with Hillside when they film undercover footage on farms. I’m sure they feel like taking the animals away but they have to do everything above board and legally, it must be sould destroying sometimes. I can’t imagine how the poor soul who filmed at Mairena felt, having to walk away, I am so sorry for them. I know Viv at ACTIN says it is heartbreaking having to save some and leave others. It’s a really horrible siuation.

The second link (Gesser) just goes to the Scooby site, I don’t see a petition there.

More and more I think there is no hope for the human race, but all the time people help stop cruelty then maybe there is hope after all. We must stop animals suffering.
