Prodeanse in Seville have taken 6 dogs from Mairena – 3 galgos and 3 Bodogueros. They need funds to pay for the vet fees and food for the dogs. Here’s what Loli says (Bing translation).
Today was a happy day because our bit because PRODEANSE participated, along with other associations and individuals, emptying the famous kennel Mairena.
At first we could only get a puppy but seeing the state of the animals and the stench given off by the pound, just thinking that there might be some were … We have thrown caution to the head and we have taken a 3 galguitas, one with such a panic that was worth watching and the others with sores from sleeping on the floor, and 3 bodogueros, a total of 6 lives saved from this hell.
Now we need your help to successfully complete these bailouts. We need shelters, financial aid and much diffusion to give a home to these pups ASAP.
Today was the first day that they have started to live with dignity.

Can anybody tell how much dogs Peter is taken? There are several auctions going on for him but what i can see know is there are a lot of people taking these dogs out???????

prodeance dont speak english what other rescue have been in there apart from peter if he got there so i can contact english speaking preferbly i have braved this and seen this vidio i need to know if any of these dogs i just seen on the vidio was saved gagos with lame legs and other breeds with lame legs poor white one with black ears looks as though he was guiding and mourning the loss of the poor galgo on the floor dead was all these poor souls killed befor the rescues got there its knocked me sick ffs what is wrong with these dick heads to let them poor souls be treated like this
Yes, I always share the articles from the Podenco Post as well. Not many people know about the Podencos, so the more we share the articles the better.
Jenny, the galgo with the black ears was the one I was talking about in other posts, shown next to the dead dog. I don’t think he made it, either died or more likely euthanised. I think he was terribly ill with a lame leg. He had his eyes shut, had lost the will to live, heartbreaking. I can imagine that a lot of these dogs pictured didn’t make it. Many of them were clearly very ill, couldn’t walk, starving.It would be good to know which rescues have taken them and also as a bit of positivity, it would be nice to know any happy outcomes for the saved Mairena dogs.

Jenny, Prodeanse have English speakers. Please just for the mo, let’s concentrate on helping Prodeanse. Any news about Peter and La Linea I will post separately. I don’t know what happened to the other dogs, a few associations went in to take some. I post the ones I know about and have information, I haven’t time to look for others.
