I would like to buy them but they only do kindle editions and I don’t have a kindle 🙁
You don’t need a Kindle to be able to download ebooks. I have a small tablet with an Amazon Kindle Icon on the ‘desktop’ and that is where I download/buy ebooks. Once you have a book downloaded onto your tablet, then when you want to read it, just click settings and Wifi off and you can read it without draining a lot of battery charge. Then reverse – settings and Wifi on to reconnect to the Internet.
