Torrential rain hits southern Spain –

One tends to think of Spain as always basking in brilliant sunshine – that’s why people go there for winter. Not at the moment this year. It’s a nightmare for the refuges and shelters and any abandoned dogs – please contact any refuges you support to see what help they need.

    I heard that the flooding was terrible. Spanish Stray Dogs had to evacuate 300 dogs from the Los Barrios Council pound. Luckily none of the dogs drowned. Some dogs were temporarily fostered. I’m hoping that there might be some failed fosterers !
