Vanessa Luque has sent this appeal for homes for mother and daughter galgas which are currently in a refuge in Madrid, are becoming very introverted and withdrawn. Here’s what she says.
‘I usually publicise our dogs through my website and my Facebook profile … but there are now so many dogs in the kennels and it is causing problems. So I am appealing for these two galgas, an urgent rehoming case.
Mother and daughter galgas, drowning in the shelter … are becoming increasingly listless, the small one hardly comes to be stroked. Can anyone help? They are increasingly unhappy.

Very sad locked in the kennel every day.
They are super affectionate caress just want that.
Urgently need a home, are becoming increasingly unhappy.
