If a galgo won’t hunt, then the galguero gets rid of it. Some just dump them anywyhere, others will pass the dog onto another hunter…it doesn’t want to hunt, so it gets passed on to another hunter…..this is what has happened to one young galgo. This isn’t a photo of her, we don’t have one yet, just the appeal, can anyone squeeze her in somewhere to stop her ending up abandoned or in Badajoz perrera. garrapateracoherente@hotmail.com
And 7 galgos in Cordoba perrera, on death row – male and female, from 1-3 years old.
Just young dogs. Disposable commodities – not a living feeling being as far as the hunters are concerned. Photos of 3 below. Contact if you can help nataliapatitasdecordoba@gmail.com

My two galgas were saved from Cordoba perrera, Sahara is one of the few hundreds I have met who had not been badly treated, just dumped to be killed at 18 months old. She adores all people and thinks they should adore her. Carmela, on the other hand, at 4 years old when I got her, had terrible traumas – obviously suffered very badly at the hands of a galguero. 3 years on, she is a happy vocal galga, but still occasionally shows signs that her memory will never forget bad treatment.
