Urgent – blinded galga needs a safe shelter for treatment – Toledo again!!

Malita 250 1 15 2 2012And this poor beauty was also stumbling around the streets of Toledo. Here’s her story.

‘This morning when I was coming from the Talavera hospital, this galguita was in a service area. I have seen she is very, very weak and something happens to her in her eyes that they close and they weep a lot.

I have put meal down to see if I could catch her, but it was not until she lay down by a wall because she couldn’t struggle any more that I was able to put a collar and lead on. At first, she resisted, but when I stroked her, she calmed down. I had already seen her other times before but could never get near her.

In my house I have 6 dogs, three in kennels, a galgo and two others. I cannot have her, it is impossible because also I am taking charge of the lame puppy Bon.

Malita 250 2 15 2 2012I have called to two hundred places, protectoras and associations, they all are full up with galgos, they cannot take her anywhere. And I, with pain in my heart, will have to release her on the street again, if no one will take her. I have never done this, but I simply haven’t anywhere to put her.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE……….: can anybody receive this poor unfortunate suffering galga?

I have her tied in the garage, she is overwhelmed by the barking of the 6 dogs in my house. I have to extract it from here before 6 p.m., but, I will have to allow her to go.
Please, do not allow it, that someone who stretches a hand.

    To Jenny,
I could have got her a place in a greyhound rescue kennel and rehomed her,as i work with and rehome unwanted greyhounds.
