Motoring in Spain – or how to train galgos to run….faster…

One of the ways of training a galgo is to run it alongside a motor vehicle or motorbike. This was made illegal because of the injuries suffered by galgos who went down. I have seen the injuries, horrific, on one galga we brought out of Spain. In 2011 the Junta of Andalucia legalised it. Here is a video showing what happens, a group who were trying to stop it, other galgueros who came in to support their friend, and finally Seprona arrived.
