Susan Dawson does wonderful work raising funds for small greyhound and galgo rescue associations. There’s still time to get your photo to her for her 2014 calendar raising funds for Pepis Refuge. She’s also appealing for people to sponsor food for the galgos and podencos at Pepis Refuge – Jane and Alan have a large number of dogs to feed and rely solely on donations. It’s been a tough year for Pepis. Last year some of their dogs were deliberately poisoned. Then through the very wet winter they have been hit with huge mud slides through the kennels – not just once but TWICE! Then Alan was ill, and they are still getting dogs and puppies dumped on them, left at their gates, including tiny week old puppies – you can imagine how much time is taken up with bottle feeding them!

So, please take Pepis Refuge and the dogs there into your hearts. And even better would be if you could adopt one of their dogs. Some of the dogs have been there 3 or 4 years.

what beutiful dogs they have there the galgos are beutiful they are doing a fantastick job another small rescue doing the dogs proud susan doing well for them aswell with what sha is doing
