Save the Galgo – Stop the suffering

Operation Rehala, Bullas, Murcia – please help the podencos too

Los Perros de Bullas – Today (8th March 2012) it has been agreed with much teamwork from The Little Pod Foundation, SOS Animals UK, the Animal Welfare Support Murcia group and Podenco Friends to find temporary care and rescue for some of the misfortunate Podencos in the Bullas tragedy. If the rescue is successful, it is hoped that between 8 and 10 dogs will be saved, plus any puppies that are still there. Friday 9th March 2012 is the ONLY day now permitted to rescue any of these dogs.

Hi Beryl, if you would take some dogs I’m sure a lot of people would make donations. But I guess there is not enough time left, is there ?

Today is the big day, I am so nervous waiting to hear if all the dogs can possibly be saved. I guess everyone will be far too busy to pass on word of how things are going, but my thoughts are with them all today.

I will be able to send you a decent donation in May towards these costs but not before then as a few domestic problems have come up in last few days which all take cash, and I need to transport my new dogs as soon as I can manage, to free up more spaces. I hope this will be helpful. I despair at the thought of any of these dogs being left behind.
