Say NO to Greyhound Exports to China – sign the petition

A petition targeting the Irish Greyhound Board and the Irish Government has been published on the Care2 website calling for the withdrawal of the IGB’s proposals to export greyhounds to China. Please sign the petition and help place pressure on the Irish authorities to show some care and compassion for this gentle breed.

The petition will be delivered to the Irish Embassy in London – the Irish Greyhound Board and Government offices.

I don’t want to think about what will happen to these dogs when they get to China. This should be stopped!!!!

    Hi
Hope you have added your names to the petition and
also sent protest letters as suggested on GN,
Matthew 19.14 says Jesus said, Let the children come to me. Dont stop
them! For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who are like these
    children. English

Hes not doing much of a job for the children and
    innocents though.
    Thanks for reading and
commenting. Keep up the pressure on the Irish GRB, they are only
interested in money, they dont think of greyhounds as animals with a soul, who
    feel pain and suffering.

This is absolutely appalling. It is known that greyhounds are eaten in China, having been skinned alive. So, after the abuse of being raced …. we know what will happen to them next. Shame on Ireland for even thinking of sending your dogs to China!

    Hi Jen
Greyhounds from Australia already end up in China
and other Far East countries, as we know from posts on GN last year, even though
the Australian greyhound owners deny it – as we also know. Hope you can
get to London, send GN details about the day, and pix if poss, afterwards.
More action to take on the latest post on GN
