I wept when I received this story. 4 galgos, abandoned, starving and barely able to stand. A woman is leaving food and water but she can’t take them in, please can anyone help. Here’s the appeal I received (Google translation!)
A few days ago a woman called me crying, 4 dogs skeletal and more dead than alive. I went to see and do photos, and what I found on arrival was eerie. They are two males and two females. Of the males, one is very sweet and young, have white teeth, and let me pet him about looking for love. not too thin, and hits all the food (normal if starved), but it’s a terrific galgo and loves petting.
The other male is quite cringing and fearful, but wanting to what you have. Indeed, he let me touch him and not only to put food out when I’m away enough, for him to feel safe. In females, one is the grandmother that escaped from me last year about this time and that disappeared overnight .. if by that time was skeletal, you can not imagine how it is now, judging by the pictures .. there is not even a gram of fat on her body, just skin.
I doubt these will last a week unless saved, do not even know if they are still alive. The other brindle female is very young and beautiful as you see, full of wounds all over her body, and on her back has 3 big bites, wounds that have healed and hair missing .. she is the most thin.
They all get along with cats, because I had some cats join the feast of food, and the dogs took no notice. They are all in a development in the countryside on the outskirts of Seville where the cars go over 100 kms / hour, if they do not die on the road then die starving! One of the photos you can see the road. I see very difficult to retrieve, because I have no car and less money .. how I can help?. Who would come for them if they leave something
Please ask for help for them, neither the woman nor I can feed 4 dogs starving, barely have enough for our people and a lot less room at home.
If anyone can help please write me as soon as possible, time is against him: callejerosenadopcion@hotmail
UPDATE – 3 of the four have been saved by Levriers du Sud and their Spanish contacts. unfortunately the last one was too terrified to catch on this occasion. The three will see the vet for evaluation, but they are suffering terrible diahhorea (sounds like bad worm infestation) and severe malnutrition. It is hoped they will be strong enough to make the journey to Madrid and a rescue association who will look after them. Click on the above LdS link and you can see some of the galgos they have saved from the Jerez perrera, waiting for foster/adoption.

i have receive these informations because we try to keep them :
So they are save,3 of them and the other one is going to ..

Thank you so much for saving these lovely, gentle hounds!!! It breaks my heart to see them suffering so much…..
Hi Berryl, this is B. Narvaez, do you remind me ? As you know I left Europe des Lévriers, but I still help the cause, and I feel very more efficient now.
Just to say that now these galgos are taken in charge by association Evolucion in Madrid, after a short time in Sevilla where they have been rescued. I see hereabove my French translation of the message sent to me at home by spanish volunteers. I forwarded it to to Lévriers du Sud last week. Good work indeed !

Bonjour
Brilliant work by everyone involved in helping save
these starving animals – it is a wonder they could still stand, they were so
thin. When will these damned hunters stop this – they must know we are all
on the warpath! One day things have to change in Spain.
