Last week 15 galgos were saved from death row in the Jerez killing station, Cadiz. As soon as they had been removed, another 15 arrived, dumped by the brave courageous hunters (sarcasm!). Oh, these hunters think they are such BIG men! They are not men, they are not human, they are worse than scumbags, a cockroach I would squash beneath my shoe!
Who is going to save these poor deserving terrified confused souls? 9 males, 6 females. All the shelters are collapsing under the mass abandonment this year. How many more can be saved?
Pray for these souls, that they may be saved and, if not, that their demise is not painful – though I am sure it will be, as the perreras use the cheapest method to kill dogs, not the least painful.

my god these poor darlings again they are tossed aside please allthe rescues work together and take just 1 each save these darlings these humans who take them to this kil station have no feelings the y want putting in a kil station them selves

Heartrending to see their faces, isnt it,
confused, frightened……like you, I just want to go and get them and keep them
safe and teach them what it is like to accept love and decent human
contact. We just keep our fingers crossed. The sickening thing is
that these will not be the last, the hunters will just keep taking this years
dogs there every week.

Please can you contact me urgently as we are trying to offer a home to one of these galgos and Maribel does not seem to understand. Anne Finch is a friend and we both work in greyhound welfare so we know all the expense and complications involved but we already have 2 galgos and are hooked. Is there some way you could help us to make contact and explain so we can move ahead before all hope is lost

time is running out and Monday morning they will be pts.

I couldn’t choose, Vera did it for me. Want to take them all Jen but I would be in the street with them…. no more room. I have even put out for foster homes but nothing! So sad 🙁
