How did you spend Xmas and the New Year? Thousands of galgos spent theirs either dumped in a killing station waiting to die, or abandoned, searching for food and shelter. The Spanish volunteers didn’t have time off. This is the story of Nicolas, rescued from pain and death by Rachel and Silvia on Christmas Eve, supported by Baas Galgo. To see the video of him at the vet surgery, scroll down to the bottom of the story and click on the YouTube link. Please donate to his veterinary care. He has a foster home in Madrid where he will receive the best possible care to help his recovery.

Hi
‘The video’ link above brings up a not available message but if you click on ‘Nicolas’ and scan to the end of the page on Baas Galgo’s website, the Youtube link is working for anyone who wants to see the extent of his injuries. I cannot believe this poor dog managed to survive on the streets with such appalling injuries but his fighting spirit shines through. Donation sent.
Hi Suzie
Thanks re the video link. Posted the story late last night and didnt have chance to check the links – will take off the video link. The pain he must have been suffering is unimagineable, isnt it. Thanks for caring about him.

Got to get another letter-writing campaign going;
just up to my eyes at the moment working on getting the Spanish translation of
my book ready for publishing.
Thanks, as always, for your support and for your
caring. It means a lot to those in Spain who cope with healing these
beautiful dogs.
